Jeffrey Lynn Ward started his career with producer/financier Bill Sharmat (War Games, Arthur, Caddy Shack, Carrie, Hooper, The Thorn Birds, etc.) where he served as vice-president of Creative Affairs.
Mr. Ward then became Production Executive for Howard International Film Group, working on five feature movies; Prettykill, Blue Monkey, Nightstick, Dark Tower, and Street Justice, all in the $2 to $5 million range and all shot partly in foreign countries. As Production Executive, he oversaw budgets, scheduling and post-production work.
Mr. Ward has also worked for HSN, one of America’s largest cable companies. He has also served as adjunct professor at the University of Tampa and on the Advisory Board of the International Academy of Design & Technology (IADT) in Tampa, Florida. He wrote and directed the feature, Black Reign, starring Burt Ward and Michelle Bauer (currently in post production) and the feature, Hallows Point, starring David Naughton and Christa Campbell. Mr. Ward has also co-directed and co-produced several television pilots. In addition to his produced scripts, Mr. Ward has had several screenplays optioned. He has been a finalist in several screenplay contests. Recently he has served as a script consultant for a large budget fantasy motion picture currently in development with a prominent producer. He is also serving as production consultant for an independent vampire movie to be shot this year. In addition to film and TV production work, Mr. Ward provides independent marketing consulting through his company, JW Media, LLC. He is a graduate of Columbia College-Hollywood. He currently resides in Clearwater, Florida.
